Skateboard Madness Beach Puzzle-Illustration by Fian Arroyo
I recently created art for a line of puzzles featuring characters from the game Skateboard Madness (which I did the character design and art for 2 years ago). As the beach scene evolved, I decided to include as many out of place images as possible to turn it into a more challenging "guess what doesn't belong in this picture" puzzle. Waddayathink?

Fandooble Game-Illustration by Fian Arroyo
Another illustration created for the great folks at Mindtwister USA. This one as a box cover for the dice game Fandooble. I love the tagline: The only thing more fun than stealing gold from a Dragon...is stealing it from your friends! Fun game! Got free reign to do what I wanted with the characters I created...awesome assignment!

Skateboard Madness game illustration by Fian Arroyo
Creating the art for this gameboard box cover and the characters for the game pieces was a real treat! Combining my passions for art and skateboarding in one shot is something that doesn't come around often enough! I like the grumpy man poking his head out the window as if saying,"Hey, keep it down out there you crazy kids...I'm trying to watch the baseball game!" We've all experienced that growing up at some time or another :-)

Bloodsuckers-Illustration by Fian Arroyo.jpg
Humorous illustration for an article about bloodsuckers (no, not the IRS) you know...mosquitoes, horse flys, ticks fleas, bedbugs and other garden variety pains in the butt. Very fun to create! Giggled the whole way through it.

freddy the fish illustration by Fian Arroyo
This illustration was created for an article on a kids section of Texas Parks and Wildlife titled "Who Killed Freddy The Fish?". It was a story about environmental pollutants told in a "detective solving a case" viewpoint. I say it was the butler with a candlestick in the library....but what do I know?

Drugstore Cowboy-Illustration by Fian Arroyo
This scratchboard illustration has alot of sentimental meaning to me. Originally it was created as a promotional image for my Workbook page. An art director who I had worked with in the past saw it and called me to bid on a job for Ryder Trucks. Well...I got the assignment but also ended up marrying the art director. Best drawing I ever did!!!

Advertising illustration used on a poster for KFC and Taco Bell called "Rumble On The River" to announce a rubber duckie river race. Just wondering...if rubber duckies are missin' any teeth is it real or just painted on rubber like that?
